All rules set forth for the GURGAON JUNIORUN have been established in order to protect the safety of the participants. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated in helping everyone to enjoy the run.

Rules & Regulations JUNIORUN

  • The event is open to both boys and girls below the age of 18.

  • The decision of the organizing committee shall be final with respect to any matter relating to the event.

  • The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify any individual who does not comply with the rules

  • The organizers reserve the right to cancel and/or add any race category without giving prior notice.

  • The organizers will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.

  • A participant is strictly not allowed to transfer his or her race entry to another party or change race categories after his or her registration is confirmed.

  • JUNIORUN organizers and officials will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal, or otherwise, to the belongings and items lost during the event. Authorized security personnel also reserve the right to open and examine any item or baggage for security purpose.


Parent/guardians of the participants must agree to the terms and conditions and sign the entry form. Any offline registration forms which are not signed shall be rejected. There is no race day registration. Registration for the race is only confirmed upon payment and issuance of the bib numbers. All participants must have the applicant waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian (online forms - by agreeing to terms and conditions; offline forms - must be physically signed) Once registered, there will not be refund of the registration fee.

Pre Run

Participants are requested to report to the venue 45 minutes prior to the start of their respective run categories. Any participant who commences before the actual start time of the run category for which he or she is registered will be disqualified.

Participants must follow instructions as given from all event officials including race staff, volunteers, medical personnel, security officers and city officials throughout the duration of the event.

Participants shall assemble for the race in their assigned starting point no less than 45 minutes prior to the race start. Any athlete attempting to enter a starting point to which they are not assigned will not be allowed to start. All participants must be positioned behind the official start line prior to the start of run.

During Run

Only registered participants are allowed on the course during the event. Spectators are asked to remain on the sidewalk or at the starting and finishing point. All parents are requested to refrain from crowding the starting and finishing line for safety of the runners.

Registered participants must stay on the official course at all times. Officials will be posted at multiple locations to guide children to the finish. Parents are requested to inform the children to follow guidelines of officials only and refrain from listening and following instructions from others. (Officials will be in uniforms with ID cards)

Participants who leave the course will automatically be disqualified. A participant must retire from the race immediately, if required to do so by any official, medical staff or event director.
